# 2d.monster

> Draw a monster on paper, point your phone at it, and watch it come to life: it steps off the page, hops about your desk, eats, does tricks and gets its own painted card to share. A free web game, no app to install.

2d.monster is played in a phone's web browser (iPhone and Android), using the camera. Nothing to install. Created and published by Blue Wizard Digital (© 2026).

## How it plays
- Draw a monster on paper: anything, pencil, pen or crayon. A circle round it is not needed; if you draw one, the monster stays inside it.
- Open https://2d.monster on your phone, point the camera at the drawing and tap Bring to life.
- The drawing is lifted off the page and stands up on your desk in augmented reality. It is named, painted in colour, and gets moods, tricks and favourite foods from what it was drawn as (a robot eats batteries, a dragon breathes fire, a ghost floats).
- Feed it, poke it, flick it, ask for a trick, rename it, resize it or change its colours. The Zoo button shows it in a little zoo instead of the camera, to show someone.
- Share gives a link to the monster's own page, where friends can see it move and rate it from 1 to 10, and make their own.

## Pages
- [The game](https://2d.monster/): open it on a phone.
- [Privacy](https://2d.monster/privacy): what is kept (the monster's card and words; signing in by email is optional, 13 and over).
- [Provenance](https://2d.monster/provenance.txt): copyright and build checksums (Blue Wizard Digital © 2026).

## Notes for agents
- The game needs a phone camera and cannot be played by fetching pages.
- A monster's page (https://2d.monster/m/<id>) shows only its painted card, name and ratings, never the photo of the drawing.
- The site's programming interface (/api) is for the game itself and is rate limited; please do not call it.
